Joanna Plumb joined FCMT in October 2020, she is passionate about providing individualized, compassionate, patient-centered care across the lifespan. She is an ANCC Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing.

Joanna grew up in Nashville, TN, and graduated from Belmont University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at the Adult Emergency Department at Vanderbilt University and at the Next Door, a substance abuse treatment program for women, for several years before making the decision to further her career at FCMT. She graduated from Belmont University with her Doctor of Nurse Practice after completing her research on HPV education in nursing students.

In her spare time Joanna enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, and enjoys music, cooking, baking and traveling.
