Dr. Jithander Katkuri founded Family Care of Middle Tennessee (FCMT) in 2002, he believes in providing every patient with the best care possible and treating every patient wholly rather than just the symptoms. Dr. Katkuri is board certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Katkuri was born in Southern India, he graduated medical school from Kakatiya University in 1977 from the state of Telangana, and completed his residency at Meharry Medical College in 1999. Dr. Katkuri also received a diploma in pediatrics from the University of Ireland in 1991. Before coming to the US, Dr. Katkuri practiced in India, Iran, and Algeria.

Dr. Katkuri is fluent in English, Farsi, Hindi, and Telugu. Outside of work, Dr. Katkuri loves playing golf, practicing yoga, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his daughters and grandkids.
