Heather Gjertson began working at FCMT as a receptionist while finishing nursing school before working on the floor as a nurse for several years. During Heather’s past 12 years at FCMT, she has cherished watching many of her patients grow up to become adults. Heather enjoys caring for patients and creating a relationship of trust and longevity.

Heather received her B.S. and A.S. from Middle Tennessee State University and completed nursing school at Daymar College. Working in the medical field for over 20 years has been one of the most rewarding experiences in Heather’s life.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys kickboxing, going to live concerts, and spending time with her husband, three children, grandson, and dogs as much as possible.
